We will send a personalized letter to the individual being honoured with your donation. Included in the
letter will be their name, your name and the reason for the donation. Our staff can even customize a

services. In many cases, the wonderful supplies we receive and the generous services rendered are
central to the exciting events we plan for those who are less fortunate. We are always open to listening
to the ideas of our donors. If you have a unique suggestion, our friendly volunteers are always ready to
listen!
Here are just a few examples of the donations we can always use:
• Gift cards
• Prizes for raffles (for example gift cards, sports memorabilia, kitchenware, toys, spa services etc)
• Office supplies (card stock, printer paper, computers, Staples gift cards)
• Event-based services, which can contribute to our fundraising activities (i.e. Disc jockey services,
sound and lighting services, etc.)
Please note that due to strict government regulations, the BDAF cannot issue donation receipts for all
supplies and/or services. This does not imply that you cannot obtain a receipt for your donation, but
rather that each item or service donated must be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you do require a
donation receipt, please contact the BDAF before making a donation. Our friendly volunteers are
