Children and families all have various struggles and challenges.  Whether it is the parent who had to
leave their spouse for their safety and that of their children, or the child with a terminal illness who is
learning about death at the same time as they learn about survival, or even just the family trying to make
ends meet.  For this group one better day can provide the hope to overcome their situation. or at least
make it  more bearable.  We are all just a few strokes of bad luck away from needing someone else to
come through for us...why not be there for them in ways they never expected anyone to care.
