Another Successful Gala!
The 2009 BDAF Gala was
phenomenal! The Fridge
Magnets provided live music for
the cocktail reception, Red
Entertainment provided the music
for the dinner and dance and
over 100 amazing BDAF
supporters provided the party!

2009 Better Day
Fundraising Gala is
ready to roll!
Tickets are now on sale for the
2009 Fundraising Gala! The
event will be held at the
Downtown Primrose Hotel in
Toronto on Saturday April 18th,
2009!
Due to limited space tickets are
expected to sell out this year so
buy your tickets early. Anyone
who buys before March 1st, 2009
will be automatically entered in a
draw to win a free hotel room at
the hotel for the evening!

CHATS to go on a Serendipity
Princess Cruise in Barrie with 23
of their terrific seniors!

Guinness World Record
Broken!
Adam Wiseman and Michael Kurtz
successfully broke the Guinness
World Record for the longest time
swinging on a swing set by
swinging for 31 hours!
The money they earned from this
event will be used to purchase
backyard playground equipment
for low income families.
Thank you to all the amazing
volunteers, Rainbow Playgrounds
and Polson Pier, who helped
make this possible!

truly an inspirational organization

of hundreds of dollars in new toys
and a $150.00 Gift Card to
Walmart for the Children's Centre

We danced the night
away!
The BDAF Launch Party was a
huge success! The dance floor
was packed all night and it was all
for a great cause. Jerry Archer
from KX96 kept the night flowing
and Joe from Variation Music kept
the party hopping! Le Parc was
beautiful and the food and
service was fantastic! Thanks
again to everyone who came and
made the night such a

The Bob Rumball Centre for the
Deaf graciously hosted us as we
brought the Zoo to You to their
Day Program! The men and
women in that group were terrific
and everyone, including us, was

The animals are coming!
The Better Day Alliance
Foundation is proud to announce
our first special project! We were
contacted by a worker from the
Bob Rumball Centre for the
Deaf's Adult Day Program and
she said they could use a hand
bringing an exciting program to
their participants.
There is a fantastic company
called Zoo to You that brings
exotic animals to different groups,
and we are bringing them to the
Bob Rumball Centre for the men
and women of their Adult Day
Program on February 7th!

(such as magazine subscriptions,
flower delivery and much more)
from the Shop and Support

percentage of all purchases goes
