The poverty that the average person can see on the streets is alarming, but the poverty that people can't
see, that they may not even know exists, is almost overwhelming.  People facing poverty may be low
income, fixed income or no income individuals.  Poverty wears many masks and each of them presents
unique challenges.  Poverty could be the homeless man that lives on the streets, the single income
earner that is not bringing home enough to feed their family, the pensioner who can't work due to
circumstances beyond their control.  When you live with poverty it is an all encompassing constant
stress.  Together, we can help release some of that pressure, even if it is just for a short while.
