CHATS Community Home Assistance to Seniors
CHATS is dedicated to assisting seniors with an
independent life style in the diverse communities of
York Region. CHATS is also committed to providing
care and support to caregivers, addressing their
unique needs and concerns.

CHATS was launched in 1980 by a group of caring
volunteers. Today, we have approximately 4,500
clients, over 500 volunteers and 26 programs that we
offer throughout all of York Region.
The Better Day Alliance Foundation paid for CHATS to take a group of 23 seniors to travel to and enjoy a day on the Serendipity
Princess Boat  Cruise in Barrie, ON on August 25th, 2008.  This outing was designed to touch mind, body and soul of each senior
through memories, activity and social interaction.  They got beautiful weather and had a terrific time!

"Thank you again for supporting this great cause. Just the smiles on our client’s faces made it all so worthwhile."
